What payment options do you allow?

PayPal: to use the PayPal option, you must have an existing account with PayPal.

Credit Card: we accept all major cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, and more.

I want to pay by credit card. How do I do this?

You are given the option to pay by credit card at Checkout.

We use Stripe to accept credit cards meaning we can accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Diners. By doing this we don’t hold any of your credit card details on our servers.

Client-side tokenization is the method Stripe uses to collect card information directly from you in a secure manner. During this process, a token representing this information is returned to our server for use in a charge request. Tokens can only be used once and expire within a few minutes.

How long before my order is dispatched?

We generally have your order ready for next day dispatch. As long as you order at a reasonable hour. Woof.

Ordering late after business hours means your order processing may be pushed to the next day.

Is it true you only hire puppies?

Yes. Woof.

Can I trust you with my order?

Yes you can. After all we are a group of puppies. No human intervention. You can always trust puppies, human.

What is Mad Puppy i.e. who are we?

Mad Puppy is a 100% Australian owned crypto product retailer. Based in Melbourne and fully trusted, we are an authorised re-seller of the Ledger Nano S. Oh, and we hire the best puppies to get the job done.

Although we aren’t the techy guys to provide detailed support, we may be able to point you in the right direction. So don’t hesitate to contact us. But for support though, please contact the manufacturer directly.

The product comes with a 2 years manufacturers warranty.

Resolution on support

In case of any issues with the ledger, you must reach the Ledger support by going to www.ledgerwallet.com.

The ledger team will help resolve the issue.

Return Merchandise Authorisation

If the issue can’t be fixed remotely, you will be given an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorisation) by Ledger.  When you are issued the RMA you may return the device, along with the invoice, and RMA number back to us. The device will be exchanged with a replacement and sent to you.

You must obtain the RMA number from ledger before returning the device. Ledger or Mad Puppy will not accept the returned device if you did not get an individual Return Merchandise Authorization number.

There is a $10 handling fee.

 

What is a hardware wallet?

A hardware wallet lets you save your private keys to your cryptocurrency in a secure hybrid (offline and online) method. By plugging it into your computer, and when online, it quickly lets you transfer coins to yourself or to others in a secure way.

Most importantly, by keeping your storage on a hardware wallet, means you are the actual owner of the coins, not a third party or exchange.

What is a pre-order item?

When an item is available for pre-order, usually means that it is a back-order. We do not have it in stock. Due to the nature of cryptocurrency, demand fluctuations, as well as limitations on supply, hardware wallets are available as a pre-order item. We try to estimate a realistic time frame on when the goods will arrive into Australia.

We’ll keep you informed of any unintentional changes to the time frames.
